Gaide processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Browser and device type
- Email address
- IP address
- Other personal data the client actively provides, for example in correspondence and by phone
- Location data
- Information about your activity on our website
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. We can't verify a visitor's age, however, so we encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activity to prevent data being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe we've collected personal data on a minor without consent, please contact us at info@gaideme.com and we'll remove it.

How long we retain personal data
Gaide does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. We apply a retention period of 7 years.
Cookies and similar techniques
Gaide uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone on first visit to this website. Functional cookies make sure the website works properly and remember your preferences. We also place cookies that track your browsing behaviour so we can offer tailored content and advertising.
On your first visit we informed you about these cookies and asked for permission to place them.
You can opt out by setting your browser to no longer accept cookies. You can also delete previously stored information through your browser settings.
Access, correction or deletion
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing, to object to processing of your personal data by Gaide, and to data portability. You can submit a request to access, correct, delete, transfer or withdraw consent by emailing info@gaideme.com.
To verify the request comes from you, we'll ask for a copy of your ID. Please redact your photo, MRZ (the machine-readable zone at the bottom of the passport), passport number and BSN to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, and within four weeks.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Gaide takes the protection of your data seriously and applies appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you suspect your data isn't properly secured or notice indications of misuse, please contact us at info@gaideme.com.
